Top Model Sighting
Normally I hate those bland chain restaurants, but right now Chili's gets applause from me for putting Mercedes, one of my favorite ANTM contestants, in their latest commercial. She's at the very beginning for about three seconds, saying "Welcome to Chili's." I loved her on her season - she was so cute and bubbly, with dimples to die for.
For a long time I have thought that Tyra Banks should do an all-star version of Top Model with previous contestants, similar to what they did for "Survivor" and "The Amazing Race." No former winners allowed, though! This would be my top 12:
1. ELYSE (Season 1): Cute, snarky, smart, great runway walk, did I mention snarky? My all-time favorite!
2. MERCEDES (Season 2): For the reasons described above.
3. AMANDA (Season 3): Gorgeous ice-blue eyes, very striking. Should have been in the final two.
4. TOCCARRA (Season 3): Bubbly, sweet personality, beautiful. In my opinion the only plus-size contestant who actually had a chance of winning.
5. BRITTANY (Season 4): Loved her feistiness, plus she resembled Janice Dickinson pre-plastic surgery and pre-haggishness.
6. KIM (Season 5): She had a lot of detractors, but I had a total girl crush on her. I think it was that cupid's-bow mouth!
7. NIK (Season 5): My darling Nik(ki)! She should have beaten that bratty Nicole.
8. MOLLIE SUE (Season 6): Beautiful girl, should have gone much further. Totally rocked the Mia Farrow haircut.
9. JOANIE (Season 6): Great pictures, great personality.
10. NNENNA (Season 6): Was surprised she didn't make the top two of her season. Girl was stunning.
11. BRITTANY (Season 8): Whiny personality, but took the best pictures ever.
Every contest needs a dark horse, so for mine I am choosing:
12: JADE (Season 6): Girl wouldn't stand a snowball's chance of winning. She would be there strictly for entertainment value. There's been a lot less crazy on my TV since she left, and I miss it!

HA! I think Jade should be on the next season of "Hell's Kitchen." That would make for a whole lotta crazy on the TV. ;-)

Another one I friended; Brittany was definitely way too whiny, but she took great pix.

I think Jade is a psychopath, truly. Everything she did made me wonder that.
I think the gal who got voted out first last season, the black girl from Brooklyn with the crazy hair, she'd be great -- such a great accent, so New York clueless, she was great. Unfortunately, her name eludes me at the moment, and I don't trust Blogger not to frag this entry if I try to google it.
I like your idea for a hall of fame ANTM! They should totally do that.
