The Marathon

I'm really happy right now - MTV is playing the Cycle 6 ANTM marathon. It's one of my favorite cycles in spite of some seriously questionable candidates (Gina, Hurricane Wendy, the Denise Richards lookalike). It's the only cycle where my favorite girl actually won (Danielle). It features two of my favorite also-rans (Joanie, Mollie Sue). And it has Jade in all her glory! That girl was 10 pounds of crazy stuffed into a five-pound sack, and I loved every minute of it.

On a related note, I've been watching "Make Me A Supermodel" on Bravo. The candidates, male and female, are GORGEOUS. They blow away anyone who's ever appeared on ANTM, with the exception of my girl Elyse. And Nikki Taylor is much easier on my senses than Tyra Banks. But it's really, really boring. I will take the overblown dramatics on ANTM any day!
