AC or DC?

Recently I've developed a stealth crush on a guy who may or may not be into women. When I first met him my immediate thought was "gay." In the past my gaydar has been pretty reliable, so for awhile I was just able to relax and enjoy his company. But as I got to know him better, this crush crept in and now I can't think about anything else. Was my gaydar off, or is my judgment being clouded by his various charms? I decided to get all analytical and make a list to try to sort everything out.

The case for gay:
• Single, thin and neat (™Jerry Seinfeld).
• Gorgeous.
• Wears his shirts a LITTLE too tight.
• Has a very cute laugh.
• Has custom-ordered an item I won't disclose here (Dale Gribble level of paranoia setting in) but believe me when I say that very few straight men I've ever known would own such a thing.

The case for not gay:
• Listens to Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly (although it's been pointed out to me that he could easily be a Log-Cabin Republican).
• Seems incredibly interested in anything and everything I have to say, and blushes like crazy whenever we have a conversation.
• I've attended two parties where he was present, and both times he didn't leave my side the entire evening.
• Just learned that he and this other woman I know had "a thing" a few months ago, whatever that means.

The waters, they are muddied! And my brain is muddled.
